Scott has spent over 36 years in the commercial banking industry. Much of his time was spent underwriting and financing acquisition and land development for condominiums, subdivisions and commercial office parks, along with funding guidance lines of credit for commercial and residential contractors.
The other half of his career was heading up litigation and foreclosures for a community bank in north Florida. While performing special asset responsibilities, he oversaw the build out and repairs encompassing over 100,000 square feet of office and warehouse space. He managed the lease up and build out for state leases, along with 50,000 square feet of call centers.
Scott also has managed the rehabilitation and repairs of townhomes, condominiums, hotels, RV parks in Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. He has been a real estate developer and investor who has co-developed a project of over 99,000 square feet of light industrial office in northwest Florida. He also has been very active in the redevelopment of coastal investment properties and constructed several homes in Walton County.
